Liveaboard Dive Travel Packing List

What to pack for a liveaboard dive trip with Divers Den

Dive day trips are great, but if you’ve got the time, a liveaboard trip is the way to go! Liveaboard vessels like OceanQuest are able to go further from the mainland and explore more remote dive sites than day trip vessels, plus you get to spend time with other dive enthusiasts for the duration of the journey. But if it’s your first time booking a liveaboard trip, you may be wondering what do I need to pack? Due to being out on the water, it is vital to plan your packing carefully to make sure you have what you need – there’s no way to pop to the shops and pick up an extra set of shorts out on the Reef!

Pro tip: we recommend bringing soft-sided luggage, allowing for easier storage aboard the boat.
