PADI Scuba Diver

Overview

Learn to scuba dive in the ocean with our latest PADI certification

The PADI Scuba Diver course is ideal for kids aged 10 and over who’ve tried our Scuba Kids and Seal Team programs – or people of any age who are keen to learn to dive but aren’t ready for a full Open Water course.

In this course, students will learn to dive – not just in the pool, but in the ocean on the stunning Great Barrier Reef.

Over four weeks they’ll lean the basic principles of scuba diving, practise their skills in our heated dive pool, then explore the underwater world with a day trip including two open water dives.

By the end of the course, participants will be certified PADI Scuba Divers and be able to dive to 12m with a certified parent, guardian or PADI professional!

What’s Next?

Scuba Divers can continue their education when they’re ready, by upgrading to the full PADI Open Water certification. This will involve a further day of pool and theory session and one more day trip to the reef.

Dive as a Family

We’ve designed this course for families and there’s no age limit, so anyone over the age of 10 is welcome to join in.

Or if you’re a certified diver with a child taking this course, and it’s been a while between dives, why not join them in the pool and take a scuba refresher course? Then you can all enjoy a Great Barrier Reef day trip together. As they say, the family that dives together, makes lasting memories together!
