The warm waters of Agincourt, Opal and St Crispins Reefs offer excellent conditions to enjoy your diving experience. With more than 1,000 different species of fish, you will be amazed by all the diversity the Great Barrier Reef has to offer. You will probably spot some 'Nemos', some parrot fishes, shy sharks, the friendly Maori Wrasse called Wally, some turtles and many more creatures.
If you would like to make the most of your experience or if you haven't been diving for a certain time and don't feel really confident going with a buddy, ask one of our friendly crew members for a shared guided dive at no extra cost. It is the best way to see the reef as they know where to take you to see the best spots and wildlife.
During your day trip, you will be able to dive in two different locations on the reef, chosen according to the weather conditions, the visibility. The reefs are all different to each others; you could be diving in a coral garden once and then diving between coral towers, or along reef walls. Be ready to be amazed at all time!
One last important thing, make sure to bring your certification card and your logbook with you, as you will need to show them to our crew.
If you can't find the information you need, please feel free to contact us directly. Our Divers Den reservations team are available 24 hours by telephone, if you prefer to use email, we endeavour to reply within 24 hours whenever possible.

Not been SCUBA Diving in over 12 months?!
In Queensland, SCUBA safe practices are an extremely high priority, regulations and requirements are some of the strictest worldwide. To ensure customer safety and satisfaction we pride ourselves in running safe and organised vessels. If you have not participated in SCUBA in over 12 months and choose not to go with a Guide, we will require a SCUBA instructor to witness a set of 3 basic SCUBA skills underwater, free of charge. We aim for this to be of minimal impact to your day and your dive time, skills will be conducted on descent at the start of your first dive. If you struggle to complete these 3 skills to the PADI Professionals requirements, you will then remain with the guided group under supervision of an Instructor. To aid, all procedures will be fully briefed aboard all our vessels.
*Please note: High Altitudes and SCUBA
Currently the rules state that for a single no decompression dive, you should not fly/go to altitude for at least 12 hours. Multiple dives: 18 hours. Deep Sea Divers Den recommends waiting a minimum 24 hours whenever possible. These are guidelines only, there is no guarantee that these recommendations will prevent decompression sickness. Currently there are no guidelines regarding diving after flying. Altitude is 300m/1000ft above sea level. This includes going to the Atherton Tablelands, so be careful when you are booking tours to follow your dive course/trip.
