Come and join us for the adventure of a lifetime diving the magnificent Outer Barrier Reef with Cairns most established and renowned dive operator Deep Sea Divers Den.

OceanQuest caters for Snorkellers, Certified and Introductory divers.

If you have never dived before and don't want to do a full course you can now book a 'Discover SCUBA Diving' 2 Day/1Night liveaboard trip including 5 Introductory Dives. All that is required is the ability to swim and you will also be required to fill out a medical questionnaire.

Details

OceanQuest is a 36 metre catamaran over 3 decks. With 4 double suites, 18 twin share and 1 quad share cabin, we have the capacity to sleep 48 customers overnight on the reef in unrivalled comfort and luxury. All rooms have en-suite facilities, air-conditioning, as well as TV’s (see virtual tours below). There is a large lounge area on the wheelhouse deck with a bar where you can relax and kick back after a long days diving. The main deck has a large dining room capable of comfortably seating 48 passengers. (view Floorplan to the left)

Dive Locations

We have 14 permanent moorings on the Outer Barrier Reef (including Norman and Saxon reefs) that ensure minimal damage to the pristine coral formations. Our dive sites are frequented by myriads of tropical fish and include the ever popular large Maori Wrasse, who are always diver friendly. The swim through, wall and drift dives will appeal to every level of diver experience.

What's included - City transfers, complimentary tea and coffee all day, hot fresh showers, fast trip to outer reef, all dive equipment (BCD, regulator, dive computer, mask, snorkel, full foot fins, 5mm long arm/short leg wetsuit), air fills, bed linen, meals and accommodation whilst on board
What's not included - Reef and Port Authority charge, camera hire, soft drinks, alcohol, snacks. Guided dives.
What to bring - Hat, towel, swimsuit, sunscreen and sunglasses. Certified divers please bring C-cards, log books.
